Handmade ice cream conquered Germany at the beginnning of the 60s. Young pioneers, most of them coming from Veneto region, crossed every season Alps to offer themselves to a promising market. Beniamino Meneghin was between those pioneers. Enterprising and determined, he fouded in a very short time his chain of gelato parlours, named Gelatì by his son Egidio, who is nowadays the manager of them.
Today after a 60 years history, Gelatì produces gelato with his own brand and for third parties, respecting Veneto handmade traditions and following the unique family recipes, together with the recent manufacturing expertises. In addition to the traditional classic flavours, he proposes every year new ones, moving up the tendencies of a very careful and demanding market.
